Lake Tahoe Wedding Photographer I Sacramento Wedding Photographers

On Saturday August 22^nd I second shot Gretchen and Matt’s wedding for Lisa Richmond Photography. I had a great time shooting all day with Lisa. The last time we shot together was at a winter wedding of mine at Edgewood Golf Course up in Lake Tahoe two years ago. Gretchen and Matt were married at Fausel Ranch in Placerville, Ca, which is a really cool venue!!! I love to second shoot weddings because it makes me think out side of the box. I also had a good time shooting individual photos of the bridal party

I was so happy to photograph Yvonne and Steven’s engagement session at the University of Davis. After shooting on campus a month ago I was excited to be back in Davis shooting. The University of Davis is a photographers dream with awesome locations everywhere and great light too!!! The only down side to the afternoon was the melting hot temperatures. Yvonne and Steven were such troops all afternoon long and brought along some fun props for the shoot. We ended the session at a secret sunflower field on the outskirts of Davis.

Last Saturday I was up in Lake Tahoe to photograph Terra and Florian’s engagement session. It was another awesome summer day up in Lake Tahoe. I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of days like that Florian’s daughter also came along for the shoot, so I was able to get some family portraits too. We started over on the West shore of the lake and end the session at Sand Harbor with an amazing sunset!!!

    I had so much fun shooting Elizabeth and Brett’s engagement shoot; that it really didn’t seem like work at all. Elizabeth and Brett met while attending the University of Davis, so it was important that the session took place on campus. We started out at a playground where they met for the first time and then moved onto walking around campus. After that we finished up the session at a secret field in Davis for sunset, which was awesome!!! Congratulations to the two of you and have wonderful wedding in January!!!!

Kkay and DJ had their awesome wedding at Woodbridge Country Club, which is next to Lodi, CA. It was a hot day, but luckily it wasn’t melting hot!!! The afternoon light that came through the trees that afternoon out on the golf course was a photographers dream. I probably could have done all of Kkay and DJ’s portraits in one spot, that’s how good the light was. But instead we raced around the golf course in golf carts to different spots. I don’t know if I had more fun in the golf carts or taking photos on the beautiful grounds
