Lake Tahoe Wedding Photographer I Sacramento Wedding Photographers

Last weekend Christine and I went up into the mountains in Calaveras County to photograph Erica and Aran’s engagement session. Erica was Christine’s maid of honor in our wedding and has been her friend since they were little girls. I was nervous at first due to the fact that they’re such close friends and I didn’t want to mess up. Only after a couple of minutes into the shoot I knew the rest of the day was going to be a super good time!! We had a blast driving all over the place. We started out at Alpine Lake, then moved onto Big Trees State Park, which was super cool because they had really BIG TREES!!! After that we went down the hill to Ironstone Vineyards, the town of Murphys and finished up in Angels Camp. This was by far my longest engagement shoot. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this September at Wine & Roses in Lodi, Ca. Thanks you Erica and Aran we had sooooooo much fun

  Over a week ago I went over to Reno to visit my childhood friend Luke and his wife Anika and their new son Charlie. Charlie is a little bundle of joy and I truly mean that. Charlie was only six days old when I was visiting and pretty much slept the whole time. I know I say this everytime I see a new born, but I still can’t get over how small newborn babies are. It’s just so crazy to me that something that small will end up so big. Right before I left I broke out my camera and took some quick photos of the little guy. I was lucky that he finally opened up is eyes when I started to take the photos.

Last Saturday I photographed Sophia and David’s wedding at the LDS temple in Oakland, Ca. Followed by their reception in Los Altos at Sophia’s parent’s beautiful house!! It was raining that day, but luckily as we started to shoot the family portraits the rain let up and stayed away for the rest of the day. The gloomy weather didn’t get Sophia and David down, as we had a blast taking photos at the temple and at a local park in Los Altos. Sophia and David also had a ring ceremony at the reception, which was fill with laughter and tears. Congratulations Sophia and David!!!
