Two weekends ago Christine and I were up in Lake Tahoe to do some wedding planning!!! The wedding planning has been going good, but I had know idea how crazy it is to plan a wedding. I have a new found respect for wedding planners 
While we were up in Tahoe we got to do some skiing up at Sierra at Tahoe. It was super fun to go riding for the day. Here’s some photos that I took with my P&S camera. The good thing is that we’re almost done with the wedding planning.
Today the lovely Catherine Hall sent me a copy of the PDN Photo Source Wedding, Portrait & Event 2008 issue. In the magazine is the photo I took of her for an article on what to wear to work for weddings. At first I only thought it was an online article, but it made the big print. So now I’m double happy!!! After Christmas Christine and I went to Las Vegas to visit some family and have Christmas all over again!!!! On the first night there we went down to the strip to walk around, shop and take some photos. Even though I use to live and work in Vegas I never took photos down on the strip for myself. It was fun walking around taking photos at midnight
Two days before Christmas I had the pleasure of shooting Kkay and DJ’s engagement session here in Sacramento. It was suppose to be raining that day, but we lucked out and stayed dry. I had so much fun shooting and exploring Old Town Sacramento during their engagement shoot. There’s so many cool spots in such a small area, that I can’t wait to go back and shoot there again. Kkay and DJ are getting married this July and I can’t wait to photograph them on their wedding day!!!!

Before Christmas I photographed Avalon’s 1st year photos down in So Cal. Avalon turned one the day after the shoot, so she wasn’t officially one yet. This was Avalon’s last shoot of her 1st year photo sessions, but I have a feeling there will still be many photos shoots to come. It was a fun day filled with bedtime fun and playing at the local park. It’s been an amazing year watching her grown into a beautiful girl

When I was down in Southern California before Christmas I had the chance to photograph Cash and Holden. I photographed Holden about 2 years ago; so I was happy to be back to photograph him and his new baby bother Cash. Cash was only 2 weeks old when I did the photo shoot. There is just something about photographing babies at this young age that makes me feel good inside. I don’t know if it’s because they are so young or if it’s just that they are just so darn cute?
