Hello everyone, 

I’m finally back home from all of the Christmas fun and craziness This past wedding season I was lucky enough to get to second shoot three weddings for Catherine Hall. Catherine is a world famous wedding photographer who shoots amazing photos. I took some photos of Catherine during the last wedding I shot with her this year.  She needed the photos for a PDN article on “What to wear to Work”. Right before Christmas I found out that the photo got published on PDN Online and we think it also made it into the PDN’s photo source Wedding, Portrait & Event Guide 2008. Last Saturday Christine and I went up to Lake Tahoe to look around and find a place to get married at for our wedding. It’s been foggy down here in Sacramento so it was nice to go up to Tahoe and enjoy the sun!!! Here are some photos that I took right before dinner over a Camp Richardson in almost complete darkness.

Christine and I went down to my dad’s house in Mesa Arizona for Thanksgiving. We were down there for a week, hanging out and relaxing. We also went to the ASU and UCLA football game on Friday, which was super fun!!! Here are some photos that I took right before Thanksgiving dinner out in the desert near my dad’s house. We got lucky and actually got to see it rain in Arizona

Yesterday I got engaged to the love of my life, Christine and I’m still on cloud nine today. Christine and I went to San Francisco to go ring shopping yesterday because she only likes antique/vintage rings and San Francisco has lots of those stores compared to Sacramento. After looking for a while we found or she found a beautiful ring from 1930 that she loved from Shreve & CO. So armed with a ring now, later that night I got down on one knee and ask Christine to marry me and she said YES!!!!!!

Last Sunday Christine and I went up to Grass Valley, Ca to Empire Mine to have some photo fun!!! Empire Mine is such a stunning place to visit and enjoy an afternoon. The falls colors were still going off there, so that was super fun to photograph. If you ever get a chance to visit Grass Valley you should go up and visit Empire Mine. Enjoy the Photos!!!

On Sunday Christine and I ran the 5k at the Clarksburg County Run. Christine teaches in Clarksburg so we end up running with some of her students and teachers. This was the first time that the both of us have ever run in an event like this. It was super fun and running by all the beautiful farms and wine vineyards made the run go by quick. My mom was up visiting, so she was able to take some fun photos of us. Now I can’t wait to run again next year!!! Maybe will sign up for the 20 miles race
