On January 9th Lisa and Dagan tied the knot at the Grand Island Mansion. This was my first wedding of 2010 and I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to the kick the year off with!!! The wedding didn’t start until the late afternoon so we pretty much photographed the whole wedding at night. Which was a first and ended up being super cool. Enjoy the photos!!!!

I photographed Megan and Sam’s wedding right before Christmas at the LDS temple here in Sacramento. The weather was bright and clear, but it was super cold out. It was fun to be back at the temple shooting another wedding. There are so many cool spots up there to photograph at and the winter light at this time of year is soooo good!!! Christine has been helping me out at my last couple of weddings and it’s been really fun to have her around!!! This was my last wedding of the 2009 season, which was an awesome year!!!

Hello there!! I’m finally back from my holiday blogging vacation. Right before Christmas I photographed Pang and John’s wedding at the LDS temple here in Sacramento. It was nice to see all their friends and family celebrating their marriage as they walked out of the temple. I had a great time that afternoon walking around the temple taking their photos in the amazing winter light!!

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy and Safe Holidays!!!! This year has been one wild ride and I can’t wait for the coming year. I just wrapped up my 2009 wedding season this past week. I photographed two wonderful weddings at the LDS temple here in Sacramento and can’t wait to share them with you. But you’re going to have to wait until the New Year. Here are two photos from when I was down in San Clemente earlier this month.

About a week and half ago I was able to photograph Owen for his 3rd session of his year in a life baby photo session. This time is was a Christmas and I ended up photographing their Christmas card photo too. It’s always fun to go see Owen and see how much he’s grown.

Yesterday I drove up to Sierra at Tahoe for my first day of the ski season!!! I had super fun time out on the slopes skiing it up. Thank goodness I ride my bike a lot, so that my legs are in skiing shape all year long. At the end of the day I brought out my Fuji Instax Mini camera and snapped some shots. I used my googles as a filter over the lens and in a cool surprise it turned my color film into a sepia looking photo. If you live near the mountains, go on up and enjoy all the new snow!!!
